These Avengers Cast Photos Prove That Everyone Loves Brie Larson

Captain Marvel was the year’s first major blockbuster, crashing through the box office to become the second-highest grossing film of 2019. The only movie to make more money so far has been Marvel’s other massive hit Avengers: Endgame, which also features Brie Larson’s extraterrestrial warrior, this time working alongside Earth’s Mightiest Heroes to take on Thanos head-to-head.

But, of course, there’s been a small but vocal section of the Internet who have adamantly tried their best to discredit Captain Marvel and its star in the months leading up to (and even after) its release. This hate has manifested as snarky recasting petitions and Rotten Tomatoes review bombing, childish and sexist attempts at reproach that’s made it infinitely harder to have actual discourse about the film’s flaws.

Before the release of Endgame, another crop of unsubstantiated rumors swirled around the net accusing Larson of being difficult to work with and claimed that the rest of her Marvel castmates hated her. Of course, many of those same castmates have gone on the record to say this isn’t true at all, but it hasn’t stopped the gossip from popping up again and again on comment forums and social media sites.

Well, one fan that had enough of this toxic behavior took to the r/MarvelStudios subreddit to shut it down once and for all with the following photo:

“Brie Larson with the cast that ‘CaN’t StAnD hEr,’” wrote u/Nashetania alongside a collage of pictures wherein Larson is hugging, laughing, or just pleasantly hanging out with everyone from Tom Hiddleston to Robert Downey Jr. to Stan Lee. At the time of writing, the post currently has over 25.2K upvotes and is the fourth most popular post of the week on that subreddit; so it looks like fans agree that the cast sure does ‘hate’ Brie Larson.

For those who did enjoy Captain Marvel, you can catch her on the big screen one last time for the foreseeable future in Avengers: Endgame, which is headed back to theaters this weekend with brand new post-credit scenes and a special Stan Lee tribute. If you ask me, her interaction with Peter Parker is worth the ticket price alone.
