Seven-Year-Old Avengers: Endgame Actress Being Bullied By Angry Fans

You’d think that Tony Stark’s heroic sacrifice to save humanity at the end of Avengers: Endgame would have taught people to chill out and be nice to everyone because, guess what, half the universe could disappear in an instant. Unfortunately, that lesson didn’t translate into the real world.

Iron Man’s real-life family, specifically the seven-year-old actress Lexi Rabe and her parents, have recently come under siege from disgruntled fans, both on and offline. It’s gotten to be so disruptive to their lives, in fact, that they had to take to social media to specifically ask people to stop harassing them.

Lexi’s mother, Jessica, posted a video of the child actress on Instagram recently coupled with a long message. In the video, “Wexi,” the precocious youth, talks about how she is, in fact, a seven-year-old kid who’s not perfect. “I mess up sometimes,” she says, before confirming to some unknown assailants that she does get talking tos and timeouts. In the text accompaniment, the matriarch of the Rabe clan seems to confirm that people approach the family to instruct them on their parenting techniques, among other critiques.

Celebrities getting hounded for autographs is a pretty common occurrence in Hollywood. However, they’re still, you know, real people, too, with lives of their own. It seems as though fans, who these days seem to be more entitled than ever, are getting mad that the Rabes can’t stop whatever they’re doing to get selfies with the Morgan Stark.

“Sometimes [sic] were rushing from place to place stressed like everyone else to get to set on time or work or whatever and we seem a little grumpy,” Jessica writes on Instagram. “I’m sorry if you see us this way but that’s life!”

Oh yeah, there’s also a few nerdlingers on Twitter who are mad about potential whitewashing of Ironheart, since they think Morgan’s going to take over the mantle. Like Lexi has any control over that. Seriously, leave the kid alone.

Do you want her to turn out like any of the other myriad burnout child actors from yesteryear? Why do you think she owes you a picture, anyway? The family seems to be doing a fine job, so maybe leave ’em alone and let them do their thing. I mean, their daughter got into Avengers: Endgame, after all.
