Ms. Marvel TV Show Leads Directly Into Captain Marvel 2

We’ve already broke the news that Carol Danvers’ next MCU appearance will be during her cameo in the Disney Plus series Ms. Marvel. Now our sources are telling us that the events that transpire during this show will lead right into Captain Marvel 2, much in the same way that WandaVision will tie in directly with Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

It’s been known that Kamala Khan would eventually feature in both Marvel movies and shows, but fans likely had no idea that it would happen so early on. It’s becoming increasingly clear that anyone who wants to keep up with the rapidly developing MCU needs to get Disney Plus as soon as possible. The streaming service hasn’t even been launched yet, but it feels like people who don’t watch all of these TV series set in the cinematic universe are destined to be completely lost when the movies hit theaters.

Ms. Marvel is most known for being the first Muslim superhero to headline her own comic book. Now she’s becoming an instrumental part of the MCU. Though the cast of the show has yet to be announced, it’s been rumored that Mindy Kaling may be on board in some capacity.

British writer Bisha K. Ali is both the writer and showrunner for the series. The controversial comedian is currently a staff writer on Hulu’s remake of Four Weddings and a Funeral and recently received scrutiny for some of her past tweets.

It remains to be seen if Kamala Khan has a starring role in the Captain Marvel sequel. If the show takes off like Marvel thinks it will, then it’s only a matter of time before she starts getting big-budget blockbusters of her own.

Ms. Marvel is set to premiere on Disney Plus this fall, while Captain Marvel 2 is expected to hit theaters on May 6, 2022.
