Han Will Reportedly Return In A Future Fast & Furious Movie

If you’re sore that Jason Statham’s Deckard Shaw killed one of your favorite characters of the Fast & Furious franchise and came out smelling like a rose with his own team-up movie alongside The Rock’s Agent Hobbs, then we have some good news for you. We Got This Covered has heard from a source that Shaw’s victim, Han, is in fact alive and he’ll appear in a future Fast & Furious movie.

In a time where the hashtag #fakenews is as common as pineapple on pizza, we know what you’re thinking and most likely saying. Those are some colorful words you’re using, too. Do you kiss your mama with that mouth? But according to a source close to WGTC, this is really going happen and given that it’s the same source who (correctly) tipped us off back in early June that Ryan Reynolds and Kevin Hart would be joining the franchise in Hobbs & Shaw, we’re inclined to believe them.

For those who haven’t been keeping up with the series, Han Lue was “killed” at the end The Fast and The Furious: Tokyo Drift. In the third film of the franchise, his car was T-boned by a Mercedes, driven by an unknown someone. That is, until the post-credits scene of Fast & Furious 6 revealed the driver to be Statham’s Shaw, the brother of that film’s now-splattered villain, Owen. As Han’s car explodes, Deckard calls Dom Toretto and introduces himself.

Fast forward furiously to the present, and we have Hobbs & Shaw raking it in in the box office and though it’s not exactly like the franchise is running out of steam just yet, Han returning to the fold, and soon, to confront his “killer” would most definitely keep the theater seats full.

Plus, he would join the ever-growing list of Fast & Furious characters who’ve come back to life. Yes, as those who’ve been following the franchise will know, several people have been thought dead/gone only to return later on, so having Han re-appear after all these years certainly seems plausible.
