While he tends to get the most flak, Tom Holland isn’t the only one guilty of divulging Marvel’s biggest secrets.
Take Mark Ruffalo as an example. The Bruce Banner actor placed the Internet on red alert when he accidentally live-streamed the first 15 minutes of Thor: Ragnarok. Thankfully, it was an audio-only broadcast, so the majority of plot details were kept hidden, but you don’t have to search too far to find an example of Marvel’s Avengers dropping spoiler-sensitive information when they weren’t supposed to.
Case in point: this newly-uncovered clip of Elizabeth Olsen (Wanda Maximoff/Scarlett Witch) from two years ago, in which the actress and all-around MCU stalwart basically outlined the finale of Infinity War, all the while detailing her character’s confrontation with Thanos in Avengers: Endgame.

Granted, with the benefit of hindsight, it’s easy to pinpoint Elizabeth Olsen’s faux pas, but two years ago Marvel Studios was quick to lock down every element of Avengers: Infinity War and its top-secret sequel, so it should come as no surprise that there were some nuggets of truth scattered among the smoke and mirrors.
And Scarlet Witch? Thankfully we haven’t seen the last of Elizabeth Olsen’s mind-bending hero, given she’s expected to headline WandaVision alongside Paul Bettany’s android sometime next year. Beyond a vague 1950s theme, Marvel Studios is yet to disclose the finer details of its new Disney+ series. But from what we understand, it’ll exist within the fabric of the MCU, and explore the pair’s budding relationship in a post-Endgame world.
Both Loki and the hotly-anticipated Falcon and Winter Soldier series are expected to follow suit, so don’t be fooled into thinking that Marvel was ready to retire some of its favorite heroes now that Endgame has come and gone…
