Jack Black and the cast of School of Rock will be reuniting later this year for a monumental occasion, the film’s 20th anniversary.
School of Rock, released in theaters in October 2003, follows Dewey Finn, played by Black, as he navigates life after being kicked out of his band. During that time, Finn became depressed and racked up debt. Things would begin to go in Finn’s favor after accepting a job as a substitute teacher at a private elementary school. When Finn discovers that his class is filled with talented students, he turns them into a rock band and signs them up for a local competition called Battle of the Bands, where the grand prize is $20,000.
