At the moment, Warner Bros. is presiding over two of the most beloved franchises in fantasy, and making every last effort to ruin them both. One is J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Lord of the Rings, which is soon getting another batch of movie adaptations, and the other is J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter, set to be remade into a television show.
As we try to wrap our heads around the possibility of both franchises making an ill-fated rendezvous in live-action, Elijah Wood has broken his silence over the news of more Lord of the Rings films, while others have dug out an old Daniel Radcliffe interview that now comes off as eerily prophetic.
