All eyes have been on Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania star Jonathan Majors after the actor was arrested in Manhattan following an alleged domestic abuse incident, charged with strangulation, harassment, and assault. As the entertainment industry picks the situation apart and continues to distance itself from the actor, new details have emerged about when filming for Avengers: The Kang Dynasty is set to begin.
The first big team-up Avengers film since 2019’s Endgame, currently slated for release on May 2, 2025, will reportedly begin production in spring 2024, Variety reports. Whether or not the film will end up featuring Majors as the titular villain remains to be seen, although for the time being, Majors is still attached to the project. However, Majors’ future as Marvel’s next big bad is looking more and more liquid by the day, particularly as more alleged victims of Majors’ supposed misdeeds come forward.
