After a gap of four full years, if you can believe it, Samuel L. Jackson is finally returning to the Marvel universe as Nick Fury in the incoming Disney Plus series Secret Invasion, and he’s wasting no time in admitting the one thing that he wishes would change about his beloved character. Although Jackson’s tongue-in-cheek comments are nothing compared to the shade his Avengers co-star Elizabeth Olsen has thrown on a major part of her own MCU journey. Let’s begin:

You ever miss the days when Nick Fury would show up in practically every Marvel movie in some shape or form? If you do, you’re not alone in that as so does Sam Jackson. When asked what he hates about Fury while promoting Secret Invasion on Good Morning America, the MCU icon admitted that he hates that Nick “isn’t in everything,” proving that he would be willing to don his eyepatch a whole lot more in the Multiverse Saga if Marvel deigned to ask him. Outside of What If…?, Fury’s been MIA since 2019’s Spider-Man: Far From Home. Stop disrespecting your longest-lasting hero like this, Marvel!
