If there’s one thing Michael Bay knows how to do, it’s blow sh*t up. In fact, he’s built his entire career on it, and there might not be anybody in the industry better at staging practical destruction than the master of Bayhem.
Even when he was running the Transformers franchise into the ground in an orgy of senseless CGI and incomprehensible plotting, the filmmaker sought to accomplish as much carnage in-camera as possible, even when he was helming five increasingly terrible movies revolving around giant alien robots trying to murder each other.
