Bryan Cranston’s last bow as Walter White is the perfect way to start his big bad break into the DCU

For nearly 15 years now, Bryan Cranston has portrayed the vengeful, power-hungry methamphetamine kingpin known as Walter White. Across the entire Breaking Bad universe, the 66-year-old actor has portrayed the infamous protagonist-turned-antagonist numerous times since the series’ conclusion in Netflix’s El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie and AMC’s Better Call Saul. And while this performance undoubtedly skyrocketed Cranston’s popularity, his final curtain call as the aforementioned character now has folks eager for him to finally join James Gunn’s DCU.

Earlier this week, Variety officially reported that both Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul — who portray Walter White and Jesse Pinkman, respectively — will be appearing in a PopCorners’ commercial during the Super Bowl LVII this Sunday. And, according to Cranston himself, this venture will likely be his final time playing the iconic character — which is the quickest way to break most of our hearts.
