Xbox Game Pass additions for June include ‘Assassin’s Creed Origins’

As reported earlier, Microsoft has confirmed that Assassin’s Creed Origins and For Honor: Marching Fire Edition are indeed headed for Xbox Game Pass in June, or more specifically, during the first half of the month.

Every two weeks brings another update from the folks working hard at Xbox Studios to bring new titles to Microsoft’s rapidly expanding Game Pass library. In this latest development, involving the first half month of June, six new games are making their way to the platform, spearheaded by Origins and For Honor. Here’s when you can expect each of them to become available to play for free via consoles, personal computers, or cloud streaming.

Sega fans have mixed feelings over first ‘Sonic Frontiers’ gameplay preview

If nothing else, the new gameplay preview for Sega’s upcoming Sonic Frontiers proves Sonic mania is indeed in full effect.

The short teaser is the first time we’ve actually seen the blue blur interacting in what looks to be the expansive world in the game coming to most major consoles this Holiday season. The quill-covered mammal can be seen running through a flower-filled meadow, attacking enemies with heat-seeking strikes, grinding on rails, and battling a giant robot.

Bollywood singer KK dies at 53 after concert

Krishnakumar Kunnath, better known as Bollywood singer KK, has died at the age of 53 after a concert.

The playback singer reportedly collapsed after he had completed a concert Tuesday in Kolkata, India. After he collapsed, he was rushed to a private hospital in the city. Hospital authorities told India Today he was “brought dead” to Kolkata’s CMRI Hospital around 10pm May 31.

Summer Game Fest 2022 reveals line-up of participating companies

The first live-action ‘Pinocchio’ teaser will air on Good Morning America

When you wish upon a star, anything your heart desires will come to you. And the same can be said for the live-action Pinocchio Disney film as it’s about to be released for all Disney fans to see.

Norm Macdonald‘s posthumous comedy special, Nothing Special, has arrived on Netflix, concluding with a 30-minute commentary and tribute from his famous friends.

At a private pre-release screening, Dave Chappelle, David Letterman, Adam Sandler, Conan O’Brien, David Spade, and Molly Shannon watched Macdonald’s 54-minute special and then discussed it, touching on memories they have of Macdonald personally and on a global scale.

MCU fans wonder if people’s interest in the franchise is starting to wane

The MCU is now bigger than ever — in terms of the number of projects being released, at least. Remember the days when we used to get two movies a year? Well, these days, we’re up to three or four every 12 months, not to mention having three or four TV series dropping on Disney Plus alongside them. That’s a lot of Marvel Studios content out there, then, so you might argue that there’s never been a better time to be a fan of the franchise. And yet folks aren’t so sure.

In addition to a Netflix comedy special, Norm Macdonald left behind a screenplay for a film adaptation of his celebrated book, Based on a True Story.

Geoff Edgers, Macdonald’s trusted scribe, wrote in the Washington Post that the Canadian comedian adapted his “memoir” into film form sometime around June 2020.

Marvel fans began to look back at older Marvel titles as this ongoing fan-made Marvel Timeline now exists online, showcasing films before the Disney MCU.

A website called MarvelOrder.com has placed most of the past, current, and future films and TV projects featuring various Marvel IPs.
