Which MCU animals would win in a fight?

Over the years, the Marvel Cinematic Universe has not been shy about incorporating a colorful spectrum of characters into its lineup. In the last year or so, this has included a fair amount of animals, from Alligator Loki to Lucky the Pizza Dog. While these often lovable creatures are often relegated to the sidelines, some of them, like Rocket Raccoon, have become main fixtures of their respective movie franchises. Just like the late Betty White, we love our animals as much on screen as we do in real life.

But if, God forbid, these animals were to fight the way their avenging co-stars do, who would win? We’ve selected five animals from the MCU and pitted them against each other to see who would emerge victorious and who would be left doing the downward dog.

Watch: Halle Berry, Patrick Wilson, and John Bradley take on the moon in new ‘Moonfall’ clip

There may be no up or down in space, but the moon is definitely falling in Moonfall. A new clip provided to Collider features the film’s trio of protagonists flying through a collapsing moon on its way to Earth in a scene reminiscent of iconic asteroid field maneuvers in sci-fi classics.

If you haven’t heard of Moonfall, the title is pretty self-explanatory: the moon is falling, and astronaut Brian Harper (Patrick Wilson), former astronaut Jocinda “Jo” Flower (Halle Berry), and conspiracy theorist K. C. Houseman (John Bradley) departs the Earth to stop it — somehow. The mission seems doomed to fail, but everything is not as it seems. Think Armageddon, but bigger and faster.

Keanu Reeves continues to come under fire in China

In the United States, and most other countries, Keanu Reeves is one of the most beloved, and unproblematic celebs, but China is a different story.

We reported that Reeves was chosen for the Tibet House U.S Benefit Concert on March 3. Well, Chinese nationalists did not appreciate this. The annual event raises money to help protect Tibetan culture. But in the eyes of the Chinese government,

this is a political attack. Multiple movies have been banned due to their mention and representation of Tibet.

Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jackie Chan’s bizarre blockbuster finds Netflix success

Once upon a time, the notion of watching Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jackie Chan facing off in a big budget blockbuster would be the stuff dreams are made of, but their eventual onscreen confrontation couldn’t have happened under more bizarre circumstances.

At various points, the lavish fantasy epic boasting both action titans went by the title of Viy 2: Journey to China, Journey to China: The Mystery of Iron Mask, The Mystery of Dragon Seal and just The Dragon Seal, during which time it was delayed by a year prior to arriving in the summer of 2019, before subsequently bombing at the box office after limping to a haul of less than $9 million.

Kiernan Shipka to star in new psychological thriller from Ridley Scott

Kiernan Shipka is travelling far from Greendale for her next role. The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina alum has signed on to star in upcoming psychological thriller Berlin Nobody, which hails from producer Ridley Scott and his production company, Scott Free. Shipka, most known for playing teenage witch Sabrina Spellman in the hit Netflix series, will appear opposite Hulk and Star Trek veteran Eric Bana.

As per Deadline, Berlin Nobody will follow American social psychologist Ben Monroe (Bana) as he investigates a local cult connected to a disturbing event. While Ben immerses himself into his work, his rebellious teenage daughter, Mazzy (Shipka), becomes involved with a mysterious local boy who introduces her to the German capital’s underground party scene. As father and daughter’s lives converge, Mazzy will find herself in great danger and Ben will need to race against the clock to save her.

Karen Gillan compare ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ to independent cinema

Karen Gillan has starred in some of the biggest movies in the world, thanks to her role as Nebula in the MCU. At the same time, she’s also something of an indie movie darling. For instance, the Jumanji actress stars in satirical sci-fi comedy Dual, which just made its world premiere at Sundance Film Festival.

But, according to Gillan, making the Guardians of the Galaxy films isn’t so different from her smaller-scale roles as you might think.

‘Mortal Kombat’ writer helming live-action ‘System Shock’ series

Mortal Kombat writer Greg Russo is on-board to create a live-action System Shock series, to be based on the Nightdive Studios video game franchise of the same name.

The new series is set to stream on Binge.com, an upcoming streaming platform focusing on gaming.

Brenda Song and Macaulay Culkin are reportedly engaged

Brenda Song and Macaulay Culkin have been dating for over four years and might be headed to the altar, according to People. Song was spotted in Beverly Hills on Monday with a diamond ring on her left hand, fueling talks of her possible engagement to the Home Alone actor with whom she has a son.

The couple, who met in Thailand on the set of the film, Changeland, were first seen together on a dinner date in Los Angeles in 2017. Since then, the couple has managed to keep much of their relationship private and off social media, save for a few Instagram posts from Song and whatever Culkin chooses to divulge on his podcast.

‘Fight Club’ writer responds to the movie’s brand new ending

Earlier this week, we announced that Fight Club received a new ending in China. The country has strict guidelines when it comes to movies and has previously banned such films as Ben-Hur, Brokeback Mountain, and Joker.

Vice reported Monday that Chinese viewers watching the movie on the Tencent Video streaming site didn’t get the original ending. In the original, the Narrator killed off his Tyler Durden alter ego. Then, in a dramatic finale, buildings collapse in an explosion along with Marla Singer. The scene is one of the most iconic in Hollywood history.

Watch: Tyler Perry is unhinged in Netflix’s ‘A Madea Homecoming’ trailer

Hallelujer! Madea fans can finally shout with joy that the no-nonsense Tyler Perry character is now headed for Netflix in A Madea Homecoming. And by the looks of the trailer, the matriarch of the Simmons clan with a hilariously long rap sheet is just as unhinged as ever.

It’s been almost three years since Perry donned his infamous Madea costume for a film, with the last cinematic outing in the franchise being 2019’s A Madea Family Funeral.
