Watch: Osborn and Octavius meet in newly released ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ clip

With everyone and their aunt having seen Spider-Man: No Way Home by now, spoilers are fair game so the official Spider-Man YouTube channel is starting to release clips from the threequel blockbuster. While Marvel and Sony are yet to officially share any footage of Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield’s returns, however, this new clip showcases the movie’s villains coming together for the first time. Having been escorted back to Doctor Strange’ sanctum, a confused Norman Osborn (Willem Dafoe) is confronted by old colleague Otto Octavius (Alfred Molina), who cruelly calls him a “walking corpse.” Sandman (Thomas Haden Church) confirms the truth to Peter Parker (Tom Holland) that both of these villains ended up dying while fighting their universe’s version of Spider-Man. Meanwhile, Jamie Foxx’s Electro is chilling in his cell.

One of last year’s finest hidden gems slices through the streaming charts

Due to the onset of the pandemic, the VOD market has been flooded by more titles than ever before, as studios and production companies fled from the big screen in their droves. One of the downsides is that plenty of fantastic features may have slipped under the radar, and we can definitely count Till Death among them.

The action/thriller/horror/home invasion hybrid was released digitally in July of last year, before making its way to Netflix a couple of months later, but the movie doesn’t get anywhere near as much praise as it should, despite holding an impressive 89% Rotten Tomatoes score.

Local business owner describes ‘Batgirl’ shoot as ‘a shambles’

DC fans have been loving the glimpses we’ve been getting at the upcoming Batgirl movie as it films in Glasgow, Scotland, but apparently the Warner Bros. production is proving to be a nuisance for the locals.

The shoot for the comic book blockbuster, which is headed for release on HBO Max, has been labelled a “shambles” by angry business owners, whose earnings have tanked due to the Hollywood project keeping away potential customers.

Chris Hemsworth looks ready to burst in ‘Extraction 2’ workout photo

Benedict Cumberbatch admits his controversial ‘Zoolander 2’ character was a mistake

While 2001’s Zoolander was one of the biggest comedy movies of the decade, its belated sequel Zoolander 2 sunk without a trace when it arrived in 2016. One of the only reasons anyone really paid it any attention was the controversy that swirled around Benedict Cumberbatch’s cameo in the film. The Doctor Strange star played All, a non-binary fashion model, a character many thought was offensively outdated.

Speaking in conversation with his Zoolander 2 co-star Penelope Cruz as part of Variety’s Actors on Actors interview series, Cumberbatch opened up his regrets over the role. The British actor admitted that the part shouldn’t have gone to a cisgender person such as himself, and his decision to accept the gig “backfired” on him, although he attempted to explain how he had felt the joke wasn’t on his character but those that mocked them.

A serial killer thriller saved by a career-best performance stalks the Netflix charts

There’s been a very bizarre and slightly unsettling infatuation with infamous serial killer Ted Bundy unfolding across the film and television sphere recently, with no less than five projects revolving around his crimes having arrived since the beginning of 2019 alone.

Netflix’s Conversations with a Killer: The Ted Bundy Tapes was followed by Amazon’s own docuseries Ted Bundy: Falling for a Killer, while Chad Michael Murray played the role in last year’s American Boogeyman, which was released less than two weeks before Luke Kirby inhabited the notorious murderer in No Man of God.
